Braves @ Yankees

Two star pitchers take center stage in the Bronx, with extreme heat and a breeze carrying toward left field. After New York stole Friday’s opener after regulation, I’m backing Atlanta to answer. Chris Sale is the difference for me. He has been dominant lately, giving up very little while piling up strikeouts and barely walking anyone. His slider is a nightmare for a Yankees lineup that has struggled badly to score lately. Gerrit Cole is pitching well, but opponents are making too much dangerous contact against him. That creates trouble against a hot Atlanta lineup led by Ronald Acuña Jr., Matt Olson and Austin Riley. I expect a close game, so I’m simply backing the Braves to win.

Angels @ Marlins

Saturday afternoon under the roof in Miami, I’m backing the Marlins to end their losing streak with Sandy Alcantara on the mound. The Angels have won back-to-back games, but their offense has struggled badly lately. Walbert Ureña is why I’m sticking with Miami simply to win. His off-speed pitches fool hitters, he avoids giving up hard contact, and he has pitched very well in his recent starts. Alcantara has been just as good, keeping opponents scoreless in back-to-back outings, and the short-handed Angels lineup does not give Mike Trout much support. Miami has the deeper lineup, with Kyle Stowers swinging the hottest bat and more dependable hitters around him. Alcantara can also pitch deep into the game and limit how much Miami needs its weaker relievers. I expect a close one, so I’ll pay the higher price and take the Marlins to win instead of asking them to win by multiple runs.

Athletics @ Red Sox

Fenway is hot, the wind is carrying toward right field, and Boston is looking to keep its long winning streak going after crushing the Athletics on Friday. I’m taking the Red Sox to win by at least two runs. Jake Bennett gives Boston the better starting point. He has done a strong job preventing runs, limiting baserunners, and keeping hitters from making damaging contact. The Athletics have struggled badly to score lately without Nick Kurtz. Gage Jump, meanwhile, has been putting too many hitters on base and giving up too many runs in his recent starts, and Boston’s lineup is built to make him pay for that. Boston’s advantage grows once the starting pitchers leave. Its relief pitchers have been excellent, while the Athletics’ bullpen has allowed plenty of runs lately and too many baserunners throughout the season. Losing Wilyer Abreu removes a productive hitter, but Boston still has enough depth and a big enough late-game edge to turn a lead into a win by multiple runs.

Blue Jays @ Phillies

Saturday night in South Philly, with the heat hanging over Citizens Bank Park and the wind carrying toward right field. Toronto took the opener, but I’m backing Philadelphia to answer in Game 2. The matchup turns on Philadelphia’s left-handed lineup against Max Scherzer. He has allowed a 1.039 OPS to lefties this season, and the Phillies can send seven of them at him, including Bryce Harper, Bryson Stott and Luis Arraez—all swinging the bat well lately. Scherzer’s fastball and slider have been hit hard, and this park offers little margin for error. Aaron Nola carries risk of his own, so I’m laying the moneyline rather than asking Philadelphia to win by multiple runs. His underlying numbers are still stronger than Scherzer’s, and the Phillies have the deeper lineup plus the more dependable late-inning relief. Gary’s Take: Phillies ML -164.

Mets @ Pirates

Saturday night at Pittsburgh’s ballpark, the Mets are on a winning streak while the Pirates are trying to end a losing streak. I’m backing Pittsburgh to settle down at home. Robert Stock has looked good in his only start, but he gave up more dangerous contact than the result suggests, including plenty of hard hits and far more balls in the air than on the ground. With warm weather and the wind blowing toward left field, Pittsburgh’s hitters have a chance to show that his strong start was misleading. Bubba Chandler has pitched better lately, and Pittsburgh has the better group of relief pitchers behind him. Carson Benge’s absence also takes one of New York’s hottest hitters out of the lineup. I’m taking the Pirates to win.

Reds @ Nationals

Saturday night in Washington, the Nationals are looking to build on Friday’s win, while Cincinnati is trying to get its late-season push moving again. I think Chase Burns is clearly the better starting pitcher in this matchup. Burns has barely given up anything lately, and his blazing fastball and nasty slider should overwhelm a Washington lineup missing James Wood. Andrew Alvarez has struggled to limit hitters and repeatedly has trouble throwing strikes, which is dangerous against a Reds lineup with power from top to bottom. Washington has beaten Cincinnati in most of their meetings this season, so I respect the chance of an upset and won’t bet on the Reds to win by multiple runs. But the gap between the starting pitchers is too big to pass up at a reasonable price. I’m taking the Reds to win outright.

Cubs @ Royals

Saturday night at Kauffman Stadium, the Cubs are looking to keep their winning streak going while Kansas City tries to stop its skid. Chicago won the opener, and I’m backing the better team to finish the job again. Seth Lugo hasn’t been locating his pitches reliably, and the quality of contact against him suggests he has pitched worse than his results show. That’s dangerous against a deep Cubs lineup led by a red-hot Pete Crow-Armstrong. Lugo’s trouble with left-handed batters also gives Crow-Armstrong and Michael Busch favorable matchups. Clay Holmes will be limited in his return, so Chicago may need plenty of work from its relievers. I’m comfortable with that because the Cubs’ bullpen has been much more effective than Kansas City’s. I’ll accept the favorite’s price because Chicago has the advantage at the plate and after the starters leave. I’m taking the Cubs to win.

Twins @ Brewers

Saturday night under the closed roof in Milwaukee, the Twins are looking to build on a strong series opener. I’m taking Minnesota to win as the underdog. The matchup starts with Taj Bradley. His cutter and splitter are both real weapons alongside his high-powered fastball, and he has been strong in each of his recent starts. Milwaukee also has left-handed hitters he can go after. Robert Gasser has pitched well lately, but he has struggled against right-handed hitters over the full season, and Minnesota’s lineup is loaded from that side. Royce Lewis and Josh Bell are hitting the ball hard, Luke Keaschall has added more power, and Kaelen Culpepper immediately brought energy to the lower part of the lineup. Milwaukee has the stronger group of relief pitchers, so Minnesota needs to score early. Still, Bradley and this lineup matchup give the Twins a real chance to win, and I like the return I’m getting on the underdog.

Guardians @ White Sox

Saturday night at Rate Field, with the White Sox trying to stop a four-game slide and Cleveland looking to tighten the AL Central race. I’m backing the Guardians to carry Friday’s momentum into Game 2. Gavin Williams is the difference for me. He has allowed just two earned runs over his last 19⅔ innings while striking out 33 and walking two, and his high-velocity arsenal is a difficult matchup for a Chicago lineup featuring plenty of swing-and-miss. Cleveland also has the more trustworthy late-inning bullpen if Williams hands over a lead. José Ramírez being out keeps me away from the run line, but Anthony Kay’s 4.99 xERA and vulnerability to right-handed hitters still give Cleveland enough paths to score. At -125, the moneyline is a fair price for the starting-pitching edge without asking a shortened Guardians lineup to win by multiple runs. Guardians ML -125.

Orioles @ Rangers

Under the lights at Globe Life Field, Texas is looking to keep its winning streak going after taking Friday’s opener in a close game. I’m backing the Rangers to win again. Jacob deGrom’s recent results look rough, but he has pitched better than those results suggest. His off-speed pitches are tough to hit, and he has much better control than Kyle Bradish. Baltimore’s lineup has barely scored over its last two games, and several of its biggest hitters come in struggling. Both starters are making their first appearance for new clubs, so this game carries real uncertainty. Still, Texas has the hotter lineup, the better bullpen over the full season, and the advantage of playing at home in a controlled environment. I expect deGrom and the heart of the Rangers’ lineup to make the difference.

Rockies @ Cardinals

Saturday night at Busch Stadium, the Cardinals are back to an even record and the Rockies are trying to end their losing streak. St. Louis won the opener by one run, and I’m backing the home team to win again. Kyle Freeland’s complete game against Kansas City was impressive, but one sharp outing isn’t enough for me to ignore how badly he has struggled overall. Right-handed hitters have done plenty of damage against him, giving St. Louis good matchups throughout the lineup even with Jordan Walker scratched. Matthew Liberatore can be unpredictable too, but his slider and curveball give him real weapons for getting swings and misses. The biggest edge comes after the starters leave. St. Louis has the deeper, more reliable bullpen and the better defense, while Colorado’s relievers have struggled badly. The price is steep, so I’m simply taking the Cardinals to win instead of asking them to win by multiple runs.

Tigers @ Giants

Saturday evening at Oracle Park, the wind is blowing toward center field, and the Giants are looking to build on Friday’s three-run win. I’m backing Detroit to answer in the second game. The Tigers have been hitting better lately, with McGonigle, Dingler, Keith, and Torkelson all producing. They face Roupp after he gave up a lot of runs over his last three starts, and Detroit can attack him with hitters from both sides of the plate, making it tough for him to get comfortable. Jobe’s return will be limited, so I’m only taking Detroit to win rather than asking for a bigger margin. The Tigers have the relief pitching and defense to support him after he leaves, and they put plenty of runners on base Friday despite scoring only twice. At a reasonable price, I’ll take the team with the better recent hitting to win.

Astros @ Padres

Petco Park hosts a matchup of 60-57 clubs moving in different directions, with Houston chasing a fifth straight road win after taking Friday’s opener. I’m backing the Astros moneyline at +107. Peter Lambert brings the sharper profile into this game: a 3.06 ERA, a 3.35 xERA, and a changeup that has produced a .225 xwOBA. Michael King remains capable, but his 4.54 xERA and nine walks over his past three starts concern me against a Houston lineup featuring Yordan Alvarez, Jose Altuve, Christian Walker, and a scorching Cam Smith. San Diego’s excellent bullpen is the biggest obstacle, so Houston needs to create an early advantage before Mason Miller and Adrian Morejon can control the late innings. The Astros have scored 5.7 runs per game over their last 10, and at an underdog price, their superior recent form and starting-pitcher edge make them my side.

Dodgers @ Diamondbacks

Chase Field is closed, the lights are on, and Arizona has a chance to take firmer control of this series. The Dodgers come in on a long losing streak, while the Diamondbacks have been winning most of their recent games and just beat them in walk-off fashion Friday night. Brandon Pfaadt gives me a solid starting point. Teams have barely scored against him over his recent starts, and Arizona keeps winning when he takes the mound. Yoshinobu Yamamoto is the biggest concern, but Arizona’s lineup is playing well enough from top to bottom to keep this close until its bullpen, which has been much steadier than Los Angeles’ lately, takes over. I’m not asking Arizona to beat Yamamoto. I’m taking the Diamondbacks with a run and a half at close to even odds because they’re the hotter team, have the better bullpen right now, and have a starter pitching his best baseball of the season.

Rays @ Mariners

Seattle is celebrating its history at home while trying to stop a rough stretch. Tampa Bay comes in riding four straight wins, and I’m backing them to keep rolling. Griffin Jax is the key for me. He has been much better starting games than coming out of the bullpen, and he already held Seattle to one run across five innings in July. George Kirby has pitched well at home, but Tampa Bay has the deeper lineup and Seattle’s offense has struggled to score lately. The bullpens could decide a close game. Tampa Bay’s relievers have been dependable, while Seattle’s have been hit hard lately. I’m getting the better team at a favorable price, so I’m taking the Rays to win.

MLB · Braves @ Yankees

Chris Sale

Sale has issued only 26 walks across 117 innings, including one total over his last three starts. His slider generates a 44.5% chase rate, giving him a reliable way to finish at-bats without extending counts. I’m backing his command to keep him below two walks.

UNDER 1.5 Pitcher Walks-130
MLB · Braves @ Yankees

Amed Rosario

Rosario has cleared this number in only three of his last 15 games, with one RBI during that stretch. Sale has held right-handed hitters to a .213 average and .571 OPS, so I don’t expect Rosario to generate the multiple contributions needed to beat this line.

UNDER 1.5 H+R+RBI-165
MLB · Angels @ Marlins

Walbert Urena

I’m buying the underlying quality behind Urena’s run prevention. He has allowed two earned runs across his last 18 innings, while his 3.25 xERA, 4.9% barrel rate and nearly identical platoon splits show that this is more than a favorable stretch.

UNDER 2.5 Pitcher Earned Runs-155
MLB · Angels @ Marlins

Otto Lopez

Lopez has cleared 1.5 total bases in only four of his last 15 games, and this matchup is built to keep him on that single-heavy path. Urena has held right-handed hitters to a .198 average and .571 OPS while allowing very little damaging contact overall.

UNDER 1.5 Total Bases-151
MLB · Athletics @ Red Sox

Gage Jump

Jump has completed more than five innings in only two of his last eight starts. His recent command makes another short outing likely: 14 walks over his last three starts have driven up the pitch count and created early traffic. Even without Wilyer Abreu, Boston has enough productive right-handed bats to make Jump work. I’m betting he records no more than 15 outs.

UNDER 15.5 Pitcher Outs-146
MLB · Athletics @ Red Sox

Jake Bennett

Bennett has recorded four or fewer strikeouts in five consecutive starts and owns only 50 strikeouts through 71.1 innings this season. His success comes from limiting walks and damaging contact, not missing bats at a high rate. Oakland’s ugly performance against Payton Tolle on Friday does not turn Bennett into the same kind of strikeout pitcher. I like getting plus money on another efficient, contact-heavy outing.

UNDER 4.5 Strikeouts+113
MLB · Blue Jays @ Phillies

Bryce Harper

Max Scherzer has been hit hard by left-handed batters all season, allowing a .333 average and a 1.039 OPS with six homers in 78 at-bats. His fastball and slider are both giving up heavy quality contact, and Citizens Bank Park offers zero margin for error with 90-degree heat and a 10 mph breeze blowing out to right field.

OVER 1.5 Total Bases-111
MLB · Blue Jays @ Phillies

Bryson Stott

Bryson Stott has been driving the ball with authority, averaging a 95.6 mph exit velocity over his past seven games while posting a 1.148 OPS. He has gone over this 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs prop in nine of his last 15 starts.

OVER 1.5 H+R+RBI-130
MLB · Mets @ Pirates

Brandon Lowe

Lowe has cleared this in 10 of his last 15 games, but the matchup matters more than the streak. Robert Stock’s 1.80 ERA is covering a 5.23 xERA, elevated hard contact and a fly-ball-heavy profile. Lowe owns a .923 OPS over the past 15 days, is hitting the ball with authority and gets the platoon advantage from the second spot. One extra-base hit can do most of the work here, and Pittsburgh should give him multiple chances to contribute.

OVER 1.5 H+R+RBI-131
MLB · Mets @ Pirates

Marcus Semien

I don’t need Semien to catch up with Bubba Chandler’s velocity; I need him to make Chandler throw strikes. Chandler has issued 61 walks in 110.1 innings and has gone over 1.5 walks in six of his last eight starts. Semien has walked in six of his last 15 games while chasing just 12% of pitches recently. The seventh lineup spot costs him some plate-appearance equity, but +170 is enough compensation for a disciplined hitter facing a power arm with persistent control trouble.

OVER 0.5 Walks+170
MLB · Reds @ Nationals

Andrew Alvarez

Alvarez has recorded more than 14 outs in only two of his eight starts. His 1.45 WHIP and 31 walks in 64 innings create long innings, and Cincinnati is sending a right-handed-heavy lineup against him. With the Reds carrying power from top to bottom, I’m taking Alvarez under 14.5 outs at plus money.

UNDER 14.5 Pitcher Outs+104
MLB · Reds @ Nationals

Chase Burns

Burns has 137 strikeouts in 118.2 innings and 19 over his last three starts. His slider owns a 52.6% whiff rate, giving him a legitimate put-away pitch against a Washington lineup with several vulnerable bats. Six strikeouts is a fair target even if Cincinnati remains careful with his workload, so I’m laying the price on the over.

OVER 5.5 Strikeouts-143
MLB · Cubs @ Royals

Clay Holmes

Holmes is making his first major-league appearance since May 15 and will be on a pitch count following the fractured fibula. He must work into the sixth inning to beat this number, while even five complete innings cashes the under.

UNDER 15.5 Pitcher Outs-172
MLB · Cubs @ Royals

Seth Lugo

Lugo has issued at least two walks in seven of his last eight starts, including every start in his current six-game sample. His latest outing produced five walks in five innings, continuing a command problem that has followed him into his Royals debut.

OVER 1.5 Pitcher Walks-182
MLB · Twins @ Brewers

Royce Lewis

I’m backing Royce Lewis to clear 1.5 total bases at +148. Lewis has been Minnesota’s best hitter lately, producing five barrels over his last 24 balls in play while clearing this number in eight of his last 15 games.

OVER 1.5 Total Bases+148
MLB · Twins @ Brewers

Taj Bradley

I’m playing Taj Bradley over 2.5 walks. Bradley has issued 10 walks across his last three starts and has gone over this number in six of his last eight.

OVER 2.5 Pitcher Walks-109
MLB HR · Twins @ Brewers

Josh Bell

I’m taking a shot on Josh Bell to homer at +550. Bell will hit right-handed against Robert Gasser, who has surrendered nine home runs in 169 at-bats against right-handed hitters this season.

OVER 0.5 Home Runs+550
MLB · Guardians @ White Sox

Gavin Williams

Williams has reached double-digit strikeouts in five consecutive starts, piling up 55 in 31⅔ innings during that run. His velocity is up, his sweeper owns a 44.1% whiff rate, and Chicago is starting several hitters whose recent swing-and-miss rates sit above 30%. Even if the White Sox make him work, eight strikeouts is within reach before his pitch count becomes an issue. Gavin Williams over 7.5 strikeouts at -138.

OVER 7.5 Strikeouts-138
MLB · Guardians @ White Sox

Gavin Williams

Williams has issued only two walks across his last three starts and no more than one in five of his last six. That improved command matters against a Chicago lineup with several aggressive bats, and his sweeper can generate chases without forcing him to live on the edges. I’m betting his current strike-throwing holds and he allows no more than one free pass. Gavin Williams under 1.5 walks at -123.

UNDER 1.5 Pitcher Walks-123
MLB · Orioles @ Rangers

Jacob deGrom

I can back Texas without asking deGrom to complete six innings. He has finished fewer than six in four consecutive starts, including just 13 innings across his last three, while issuing seven walks in that span. Baltimore has enough patient hitters to extend at-bats even if the offense remains quiet. With plus money attached, I’m betting deGrom records fewer than 18 outs.

UNDER 17.5 Pitcher Outs+103
MLB · Orioles @ Rangers

Kyle Bradish

Bradish has not reached six strikeouts in any of his last six starts, and he has completed only 7 2/3 innings across his last two. His breaking balls can still miss bats, but the walks and shorter outings have limited his strikeout ceiling. Texas does not need to dominate him for this under to cash; I just need Bradish to stay at five or fewer again.

UNDER 5.5 Strikeouts-118
MLB · Rockies @ Cardinals

Matthew Liberatore

This is a bet against the sixth inning, not against Liberatore pitching well. He has completed six innings in only two of his last eight starts, and his 108.2 innings across 22 starts average out to fewer than five per turn.

UNDER 17.5 Pitcher Outs-104
MLB · Rockies @ Cardinals

Jake McCarthy

McCarthy gives me leadoff volume against a left-hander whose platoon split does not make this a matchup to avoid. Left-handed hitters have batted .291 with an .862 OPS against Liberatore this season.

OVER 1.5 Total Bases+127
MLB · Tigers @ Giants

Jackson Jobe

Jobe is making his season debut after a lengthy recovery, and Detroit has already committed to a capped pitch count. He must record at least two outs in the fifth inning to beat this number, which leaves little margin for a long inning or cautious hook. At nearly even money, I’ll bet the workload restriction matters even if Jobe pitches well.

UNDER 13.5 Pitcher Outs-105
MLB · Tigers @ Giants

Landen Roupp

Roupp has recorded only 11 and 14 outs in his last two starts, and he has allowed 11 earned runs across his last 14⅓ innings. Detroit’s lineup is deep, balanced and capable of extending counts, while Roupp has issued 52 walks in 118⅓ innings. He must complete six full innings to beat us, and I don’t expect him to get there in his first start for San Francisco.

UNDER 17.5 Pitcher Outs-125
MLB · Astros @ Padres

Michael King

I’m taking Michael King over 2.5 earned runs at plus money. His 4.54 xERA is more concerning than the surface ERA, and his sinker has been hit to a .391 xwOBA. King has also walked nine batters across his past three starts, creating additional traffic against a Houston offense averaging 5.7 runs over its last 10 games. With Yordan Alvarez, Jose Altuve, Christian Walker, and Cam Smith all swinging well, I see a clear path to three earned runs before King exits.

OVER 2.5 Pitcher Earned Runs+115
MLB · Astros @ Padres

Peter Lambert

Peter Lambert has allowed two earned runs or fewer in seven of his past eight starts, and I’m backing that form to continue at Petco Park. His 3.06 ERA is supported by a 3.35 xERA, while his changeup has held hitters to a .225 xwOBA. San Diego’s three left-handed bats face a particularly difficult matchup against Lambert’s .481 OPS allowed to lefties, and the park should help contain his fly-ball tendencies.

UNDER 2.5 Pitcher Earned Runs-140
MLB · Dodgers @ Diamondbacks

Brandon Pfaadt

Pfaadt has stayed under this number in eight straight starts, including just two earned runs across his last 19.2 innings. The Dodgers have scored only 3.8 runs per game over their last five, and tonight’s lineup owns a .225 career average against him. Los Angeles still has dangerous left-handed bats, but plus money gives me enough room to accept that risk. Gary’s Take: Brandon Pfaadt under 2.5 earned runs at +120.

UNDER 2.5 Pitcher Earned Runs+120
MLB · Dodgers @ Diamondbacks

Freddie Freeman

Freeman has recorded a single in 14 of his last 15 games and is 22-for-50 over that stretch. His recent contact has produced ten hard-hit balls but no barrels or home runs, which is exactly the shape I want for this prop.

OVER 0.5 Singles-133
MLB HR · Blue Jays @ Phillies

Bryce Harper

Harper is the Phillies bat I want against Max Scherzer. He has three homers and a .944 OPS over his last 15 days, with two recent barrels and a disciplined approach that should force Scherzer into the zone. Scherzer has allowed a 1.039 OPS and six home runs to left-handed hitters, while his fly-ball profile leaves him vulnerable in this park. With warm weather and an 11 mph wind carrying toward right field, +650 is too long for the best left-handed power bat in this lineup.

OVER 0.5 Home Runs+650
MLB HR · Reds @ Nationals

Sal Stewart

Stewart gets the platoon advantage against Andrew Alvarez and brings four home runs over his last 15 days with three barrels among his last 20 balls in play. Alvarez’s 92 mph fastball and 43.6% hard-hit rate leave room for damage, especially with Stewart batting second in 90-degree weather and the wind moving toward center. At +750, I’m betting Stewart’s combination of recent power, lineup position and matchup.

OVER 0.5 Home Runs+750
MLB HR · Tigers @ Giants

Dillon Dingler

Dingler has four homers in his last 15 games and five barrels among his 26 recent balls in play. That power is supported by a .517 expected slugging percentage, so I’m willing to buy the biggest price among Detroit’s established threats.

OVER 0.5 Home Runs+850
MLB HR · Rockies @ Cardinals

Ivan Herrera

Herrera gets the platoon matchup I want against Kyle Freeland, who has allowed a .926 OPS and 19 home runs to right-handed hitters. Herrera has also been driving the ball better than his recent average suggests, producing a 91.3 mph average exit velocity and 12 hard-hit balls on 20 balls in play. Batting third gives him the plate-appearance volume to justify taking a shot at +600.

OVER 0.5 Home Runs+600
MLB HR · Dodgers @ Diamondbacks

Kyle Tucker

Brandon Pfaadt has been rolling, but left-handed power remains the opening in this matchup. Lefties have produced a .779 OPS and seven home runs in 167 at-bats against him, and Tucker enters with three homers and a .976 OPS over his last 15 days.

OVER 0.5 Home Runs+630
MLB HR · Cubs @ Royals

Pete Crow-Armstrong

Pete Crow-Armstrong is seeing the ball too well for me to pass at +460. He has five homers over his last 15 games, and his recent contact includes a 93.9 mph average exit velocity with three barrels on 17 balls in play.

OVER 0.5 Home Runs+460
MLB HR · Orioles @ Rangers

Joc Pederson

Pederson is my favorite home-run price on this board. He has four homers over his last 15 games, produced two barrels on 14 recent balls in play and drove a Bradish-style mid-90s fastball 414 feet Friday night.

OVER 0.5 Home Runs+600
MLB HR · Guardians @ White Sox

Angel Martinez

I’m not paying for Friday’s grand slam; I’m taking the price on the underlying matchup. Martínez should bat right-handed from the cleanup spot against Anthony Kay, who has allowed 12 homers and an .833 OPS to right-handed hitters. Martínez has also barreled three of his last 18 balls in play, giving him more current lift than his modest average exit velocity suggests. The wind coming in keeps this to a small play, but +630 is enough for me to bet Martínez to leave the yard.

OVER 0.5 Home Runs+630
MLB HR · Rockies @ Cardinals

Willi Castro

Castro has homered four times in his last 15 days, with three barrels on 17 balls in play, and he can turn around to bat right-handed against Matthew Liberatore. Liberatore has surrendered 13 home runs to right-handed hitters and carries a fly-ball-heavy profile. Busch Stadium suppresses power slightly, but +750 is enough compensation for a hitter currently converting his best contact into home runs.

OVER 0.5 Home Runs+750
MLB HR · Astros @ Padres

Taylor Trammell

Taylor Trammell has homered three times in his last 15 games, and the underlying contact supports another swing at +650. He has produced three barrels on only 17 recent balls in play while chasing just 12% of pitches, a combination that gives him a chance to punish a mistake without expanding the zone.

OVER 0.5 Home Runs+650
MLB HR · Mets @ Pirates

Bryan Reynolds

Reynolds is driving the ball better than his recent home-run total suggests, with a 92.3 mph average exit velocity, 10 hard-hit balls and two barrels over his latest 18 balls in play. He also bats third, giving him the best chance in Pittsburgh’s lineup to get four or five trips.

OVER 0.5 Home Runs+750
MLB · Rays @ Mariners

George Kirby

This is a hit-allowance matchup, not a home-run bet. Kirby has allowed more than 5.5 hits in six of his last eight starts, with opponents batting .263 from the left side and .290 from the right this season.

OVER 5.5 Pitcher Hits Allowed-110
MLB · Rays @ Mariners

Jonathan Aranda

Aranda has cleared this number in 10 of his last 15 games and enters tonight hitting .319 over that stretch. He is also making authoritative contact, with 12 hard-hit balls among his 23 recent balls in play.
