I’m backing Milwaukee because Freddy Peralta’s 2.50 ERA travels and his 176 strikeouts in 158.2 innings punish impatient bats. Texas’s core has been light and whiffy, with Dylan Moore fanning 79 times in 207 at-bats and Ezequiel Duran stuck at a .227 average, which feeds Peralta’s get-ahead, put-away rhythm. I respect Merrill Kelly’s 1.04 WHIP, but Brice Turang hitting .288 tells you this Brewers lineup strings quality at-bats and scratches the run they need. In a tight, low-total profile the moneyline is the smart hammer, so have the guts to ride the better arm and cleaner lineup with me.
