I’m backing Seattle on the moneyline because Luis Castillo’s 3.94 ERA travels and his stuff holds up when the lights are bright. He keeps traffic light with a 1.29 WHIP, while Joey Wentz’s 5.12 ERA invites damage. That gap gets magnified by Seattle’s power, with Cal Raleigh at 52 homers and Eugenio Suárez at 43, so one mistake can swing the game. Sure, the swing-and-miss is real—Raleigh has 165 strikeouts—but Wentz’s 1.45 WHIP means extra chances, and the Mariners cash those if you’ve got the guts to ride with me.
