Houston is desperately fighting to hold onto the sixth seed and avoid the Play-In tournament, while New Orleans has been mathematically eliminated from postseason contention and is currently mired in a four-game losing streak. Motivation is a powerful factor this late in the year, but the underlying statistical matchup provides the concrete evidence needed to lay the points on the road.

The defining battle of this game will be fought in the paint, where the Rockets hold a massive stylistic advantage.
