LeBron James scoring just 21 points feels like a light day at the office for the King, especially when he's playing in front of his home crowd in Los Angeles. With the Rockets missing Fred VanVleet’s veteran leadership on the perimeter, the Lakers should be able to dictate the tempo and generate plenty of easy transition looks.
LeBron has been incredibly efficient lately, and he knows exactly how to exploit a young Houston defense that can often get lost in rotations. If the Rockets are missing their primary interior presence, there won't be much resistance at the rim for LeBron’s signature downhill drives.
I expect him to come out aggressive early to set the tone and cruise past this total by the middle of the second half. It is rare to see a legend like this get such a reachable scoring mark in a featured matchup, so I'm very confident in the over.

Austin Reaves has really evolved into a primary playmaker for this Lakers squad, and tonight's matchup against Houston is the perfect spot for him to showcase those vision skills. With the Rockets missing their defensive anchor in the backcourt, the Lakers should find plenty of open lanes to the basket, leading to easy kick-out opportunities for Austin.
He’s been seeing a lot more time with the ball in his hands lately, and his chemistry with Anthony Davis in the pick-and-roll has become a staple of this offense. The Rockets play with a youthful energy that often leads to a faster pace, creating more possessions and more chances for Reaves to stack up dimes.
I see him orchestrating the flow effectively and picking apart a Houston team that can be prone to mental lapses on the road. He’s simply too involved in the half-court sets right now to stay under this number.
