Gary's Take This one's interesting - Utah's offensive firepower versus Memphis' home-court defense. Utah owns the clear edge in offensive rating, shooting efficiency, and three-point percentage, with Lauri Markkanen and Keyonte George giving them real perimeter punch. Memphis counters with the better defensive rating and overall net rating, and they've been in much better recent form, even with Ja Morant sidelined.
Here's how I see this playing out: Jaren Jackson Jr. and Jock Landale give Memphis enough interior presence to score on Utah's soft defense, but the Jazz spacing with Markkanen and shooters like Svi Mykhailiuk keeps this from turning into a blowout. Utah's road record is ugly, but their superior shooting and offensive efficiency are exactly the tools you want with a full touchdown of points to work with.
This screams value to me because the overall efficiency gap between these teams is much tighter than a seven-point spread suggests. I love this spot for Utah to trade buckets all night and stay inside the number, even if Memphis edges it late. Lock this in: Utah Jazz +7.0.
