Gary's Take I love this spot for Boston even without Jayson Tatum. The efficiency gap between these teams is real, and with Giannis Antetokounmpo sidelined Milwaukee loses the engine that drove their strong shooting and free-throw profile. Boston still brings the better overall offense and a slightly sturdier defense, and they have been trending up while the Bucks have stumbled.
Without Giannis, Milwaukee has to lean on guys like Bobby Portis and Gary Harris to create, and that is a big downgrade from their usual hierarchy. On the other side, Derrick White and Anfernee Simons are both graded as high-level offensive pieces, and Boston's combination of three-point volume and offensive rebounding means they generate more quality possessions over 48 minutes.
