Gary's Take There's a mismatch here that nobody's talking about: Minnesota is the more complete team on both ends, and they’re healthy at home while Phoenix is missing Devin Booker. The numbers don’t lie – the Timberwolves are more efficient offensively and defensively, and that net rating edge shows up over 48 minutes, especially in their own building.

I see Anthony Edwards attacking downhill, with Jaden McDaniels and Donte DiVincenzo spacing the floor and Julius Randle punishing smaller lineups inside. Phoenix has to lean on Dillon Brooks and Grayson Allen to create, and against this defense that turns into a lot of contested jumpers and dry spells. The Suns might grab some extra boards and hit some free throws, but over the course of the night Minnesota’s balance and depth should stretch this out past the number. Only way this misses is if Phoenix’s role players catch fire from deep and Minnesota sleepwalks, but I’m siding with the superior, healthier squad. Lock it in: Minnesota Timberwolves -10 -110.
