Adams needs to complete five innings to beat this line, something he did not do in his debut. He required 75 pitches to record 12 outs, and Colorado has kept him below 80 pitches in every start this season while managing his workload following Tommy John surgery. The Rockies would love length after Saturday's bullpen game, but that need does not erase the workload ceiling. Against a deep Atlanta lineup, plus money on Adams exiting before the end of the fifth is the play.

Kim has seven hits in 83 at-bats this season and has recorded a hit in only two of his last 15 games. Batting ninth also limits his opportunity, particularly if Atlanta controls the game without turning the lineup over five times.
