I’m taking the Yankees moneyline at -106 because this ticket asks only for the stronger late-game structure to win, not for New York to create separation.

The deciding separator is behind him: the Yankees’ current bullpen has a 2.60 ERA and 1.16 WHIP, compared with Baltimore’s 4.06 and 1.23. Over the last seven games, that advantage has widened to 1.46 versus 3.20. If Warren supplies a competitive bridge into the middle innings, my read trusts New York’s relief corps to finish the job. He has exceeded this line in just two of his last eight starts and owns only 40 strikeouts across 61.2 innings this season. His return against Tampa Bay produced three strikeouts over 5.1 innings, with a 5% whiff rate and no whiffs from either his sinker or cutter.
The Yankees can strike out, but Bassitt may not receive enough innings to capitalize. His outs market is shaded toward fewer than 16, and seven left-handed hitters give New York a lineup built to pressure the platoon split that has given him the most trouble. I’m betting he exits before collecting a fifth strikeout.

This isn't a hot streak I'm chasing blind — he's 8-for-27 with three homers against this Orioles club already this season, and tonight he draws a pitcher who's been getting hurt specifically by left-handed hitters. Bassitt has allowed a .926 OPS and six homers to lefties this year against a .639 OPS and zero homers to righties — as clean a platoon split as you'll find on a card like this.
Grisham bats leadoff, so his at-bats are locked in, and with the wind blowing out to right at Camden tonight, a lefty pulling the ball gets a little extra push. The price says roughly 23 percent; I think the real number is higher than that right now.

Twenty-one of Alonso's twenty-eight homers this year have come against right-handed pitching, which is exactly what he sees tonight. This is a hitter running as hot as anyone in the league against a pitcher who can't find the strike zone.
The price undersells both sides of that equation.

This is a lower-confidence swing than my other plays tonight — Cowser strikes out enough that any given night can end in three punchouts instead of a barrel — but the recent power surge combined with the platoon matchup makes the long price worth taking a shot on.
