Sunday afternoon at Target Field, the wind is carrying toward right and Minnesota is trying to salvage the finale after getting handled twice. This is the uncomfortable spot where a sweep can look inevitable right before the series turns.
I’m buying Dean Kremer’s adjustment at even money. His splitter and cutter give him weapons against Philadelphia’s left-heavy order, and he has allowed only two runs across his first 12 innings with Minnesota. Trea Turner’s scratch removes another dangerous bat and makes the Phillies easier to sequence.
Andrew Painter has improved, but his fastball remains hittable and he may not work deep. Minnesota has generated traffic all series without cashing it in, and I expect Josh Bell, Royce Lewis, and Luke Keaschall to finally produce the decisive swing. I’ll take the motivated home club to avoid the sweep at +100.

Painter has allowed an .857 OPS to right-handed hitters, and his four-seam fastball has been hit hard all season. Lewis does not need Minnesota’s struggling offense to string together a rally here; one extra-base hit gets it done at a strong plus-money price.
