Texas has controlled this series, and Seattle’s struggling hitters now face deGrom and his elite breaking pitches. The Rangers’ relief pitchers are rested after Eovaldi pitched seven innings Saturday, Langford is in the lineup, and Texas’s best hitters are producing.
Gilbert is good enough that I don’t want to bet on Texas to win by multiple runs. But with the price close to a toss-up, I’m backing the hotter team at home.
