Although Diamondbacks closer Paul Sewald is likely unavailable due to fatigue, Arizona’s middle relief remains highly reliable with key setup options like Brandyn Garcia (1.75 ERA) and Jonathan Loaisiga (2.08 ERA). The Athletics, on the other hand, are severely compromised. They placed setup man Mark Leiter Jr. (3.15 ERA) on the IL yesterday and have likely taxed closer Hogan Harris. This leaves Oakland to rely on high-ERA relief options such as Elvis Alvarado (5.59 ERA) and Scott Barlow (6.48 ERA). Backing the hot-hitting home team with a massive defensive and late-inning advantage at a reasonable -130 price is the sharpest move on the board.
