Sports picks for Tuesday, May 6, 2025

Dodgers are a machine at home, outscoring opponents by over 2 runs per game in LA and facing a Marlins squad with one of the league's worst run differentials and bullpen ERAs. No sharp/public split red flags, no line movement, and the Dodgers' momentum is rolling—Marlins just can't match the firepower or depth here.

Phillies have been rock-solid at home, with a top-3 bullpen ERA and lineup that's been hot over the last 10 games. Rays' offense has been inconsistent on the road, and no major line movement means no sharp trap. With Philly's momentum and pitching edge, this is a classic value spot—no need to get cute.

Braves are the better team on paper, but this line is inflated—no line movement and Reds get the run at home. Reds' bullpen has quietly stabilized, and Atlanta's recent bats have cooled. I'm not chasing the -225 favorite; the value is on the Reds keeping it close.
