That depth matters. UConn not only shoots it better, they also create extra possessions on the offensive glass and don’t waste many with sloppy turnovers. Over time, that kind of efficiency gap usually turns into a run – especially when you’ve got a steady point guard in Silas Demary Jr. controlling tempo and getting the ball to the right spots. DePaul’s path is to live at the line, slow things down, and hope Gunn gets hot, but sustaining that against UConn’s length and discipline is a big ask. Even laying a big number on the road, the profile here points to UConn building a working margin by halftime and stretching it in the second half as their size, shooting, and ball security wear DePaul down.
