Gary's Take I love this spot for North Carolina A&T, and it has nothing to do with both teams limping in on losing streaks. When two struggling groups meet, you look for who creates the cleaner, tougher possessions, and that picture is pretty clear here.

A&T protects the ball better and extends possessions on the glass, while Maryland Eastern Shore is looser with the rock and gives up extra chances. On top of that, the Aggies live at the free-throw line, while the Hawks barely get there at all. In a lower-total type of game, that combination of fewer turnovers, more offensive boards, and a massive edge in free throws tends to snowball over 40 minutes, especially in a home gym.
