The Orioles are dealing with the fresh, devastating news of Zach Eflin's season-ending Tommy John surgery, announced just two days ago. That puts immense pressure on a young arm like Baz to step up and stabilize a rotation that just lost its veteran anchor. Contrast that with a Giants staff that has put up consecutive shutouts and enters this game with absolute confidence. San Francisco is actually 2-1 on the road this year compared to their struggles at home, and I like the value of getting an elite xERA pitcher like Roupp at even money against a starter with such glaring platoon splits.
