Look, Andrew Abbott's sparkling ERA (1.77) and low BAA (.204) aren't just smoke and mirrors—he's flat-out suffocating lineups this year, and the Cubs' offense outside of Kelly (.290) and Swanson (.248) is looking a little thin on punch. Chicago's got the better record, but with their starter still a mystery and the Reds getting legit production from the top of the order, I'll gladly take Cincinnati with the insurance of +1.5 runs. This is exactly the kind of gritty, low-scoring road scrap where Abbott keeps it tight and the Reds' bats do just enough to cash that run line, but you gotta have the guts to trust the numbers over the home crowd.
