Toronto’s lineup, while not hot, still features steady bats like Kirk (.284) and Bichette (.273) who know how to grind out at-bats against wild arms. Berríos isn’t dominant (4.22 ERA, 1.36 WHIP), but he’s proven to eat innings and limit damage against weaker lineups, and Oakland brings little punch outside Jacob Wilson.
